Around the corner from pub street That includes Buddhas statues, fake watches, paintings of angkor, and much more. The area is relatively small, a couple streets that intersect that make up a few blocks. This area is very manageable for the tourist. I recommend the night market massage place that shows an educational video on angkor while you get your foot rub. I felt intellectually and physically stimulated, what a wonderful time. The area is visually stimulating with market lights above and well lit vendors dotting the streets.
Come and spend an hour or two wandering around. Get the foot massage Enjoy some rolled ice cream. This is a new craze that has hit New York that requires 2 hour wait in the big apple. Lots of things going on despite the small area. Definitely worth checking out , especially if you are staying in the area. The night market is fun to walk around with a really buzzing atmosphere. There is some great food on offer, not least from the roadside vendors but most of the stalls offer the same food and drink as each other and at the same price.
Still the fruit smoothies are a blessing in the heat, and the rice cake desserts with coconut and seasonal fruit in are delicious and a must try. Other than that the market mainly consists of souvenir stalls, clothing and handicrafts. Nice if you want to take a gift home or something for yourself but generally lots of the same items over and over.
The stall holders aren't pushy and generally a bit of negotiation on the price is to be expected. A great place to shop for Buddhist related beads as well as Feng shui items. Clothing is plentiful as well as jewelry.
Nice restaurant in the corner and even a massage center whic was very inexpensive and relieved the aches!!!!!!! The night market shouldn't be missed.
